A SARC is a School Accountability Report Card. In California a SARC is a public school's way of communicating how well it is doing. It's been a requirement that schools prepare and distribute their SARCs on an annual basis since November 1988.

You can find the California Department of Education's (CDE) explanation for Parent on A Parent's Guide to the SARC. This webpage explains what the SARC is all about and provides you a link to viewing any schools' SARC.
